Port of New Orleans Digital Platform Management
New Orleans, Louisiana
Port of New Orleans
Project Overview
Royal was contracted by the Port of New Orleans to move its existing Salesforce.org platform to our customized Salesforce based RoyalVUE platform. RoyalVUE is our digital solutions platform, and serves as a single system of engagement, connecting people and data in real-time and across multiple devices. RoyalVUE provides an end-to-end view of organizational performance, enables clients to optimize and prioritize activities, and fosters real-time collaboration and problem-solving.
Project Work and Royal Solutions
Our team met with each of the Port’s Departments to analyze their current process, identify any inefficiencies, discuss enhancements, and create a roadmap for each process. Once the discovery phase was complete, Royal’s team configured, applied thorough testing, and deployed the platform. In conjunction with deployment, all Port Departments were provided in-depth user training.
A few of the departments and processes that the Royal team addressed through the RoyalVUE platform include:

• Capital Improvements Program (CIP) – moved away from excel spreadsheet tracking and into Salesforce for full transparency to track fiscal year projects and budget for board review/approval.
• Asset Management – now tracks ongoing projects and maintenance and views historical data.
